Adult Misdemeanor Probation serves the Court in executing supervised probation to those found guilty of a misdemeanor crime. The goal of the Misdemeanor Probation Officer is to assist the probationer in successfully completing the terms of probation. Compliance with all orders of the court is essential for a successful period of probation. Juvenile Probation is a structured and restrictive program for the habitual/serious youth offender. Individuals are formally adjudicated in magistrate court when placed on probation. Probation officers are responsible for preparing a social history and recommendations to the court for disposition hearings.
